The Pobocik Funeral Home is a family-owned and operated independent funeral home run by the Pobocik couple of Chris and Linda, who have been married since 1978. They are both natives of Swartz Creek, Michigan.

Chris has been a funeral director in Three Oaks since 1985. He began in the funeral business in 1977 and is a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association, the Indiana Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. Chris is an active member of the community, belonging to numerous business, fraternal and civic organizations.

Linda has served as office manager since 1995, when the couple bought the funeral home. Prior to joining Chris in this role, she worked in the accounting department at an area hospital after having passed her Certified Public Accounting exam. She holds an accounting degree from Indiana University South Bend. Linda also is active in the community and a frequent volunteer.

The Pobociks are the parents of three adult children: Benjamin, a licensed funeral director in Otsego, Michigan; Bethany, a third-grade teacher in Fort Myers, Florida; and Joseph, a construction management major at Ferris State University.
