Paul Philip Zientarski, 43, died peacefully at his home on Friday, October 1, 2010, surrounded by his family.
Paul was born in Michigan City, IN on March 15, 1967, the youngest of 10 children born to Raymond S. and Gloria R. Aigner Zientarski. He lived his entire life in New Buffalo, MI where he attended New Buffalo Area Schools, graduating in 1985. He attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI and worked as an independent contractor for his brother, Robert at Covenant Construction. Paul was a devout Catholic and member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in New Buffalo and Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Michigan City. He was a loyal Cubs fan and a passionate runner, having successfully completed over 10 marathons around the Midwest.
Paul is survived by his siblings, Margaret (Jon) Putzke of Vero Beach, FL, Robert (Colleen) of Sawyer, MI and Skokie, IL, John (Stacy) of Port Charlotte, FL, Carol (Dennis) Shubert of New Buffalo, MI, Bernadette Reitz of Michigan City, IN, Angela (Ed) Trainor of Orland Park, IL and Grand Beach, MI, William (Nancy) of Michigan City, IN, Lauren (Darrell) Carney of Leonardtown, MD, 38 nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Gloria Zientarski, his sister, Frances (Michael) Bredehoeft, and nephew, Craig Reitz, grandparents: Stanley and Sophie Ciszewski Zientarski, and Rudolph and Julia Hlina Aigner.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, October 4, 2010 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, New Buffalo with the Reverend Father Craig Lusk officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Pobocik Funeral Home in Three Oaks where a Prayer Service & Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm.
